About Radha Krishna and Her Art

about Radha Krishna

“About Radha Krishna” is one of my favorite paintings because it is just so beautiful. I actually first discovered this painting when I was flipping through an art book over the internet and saw this particular painting and was so enthralled by the message it conveyed. After that I went and purchased the whole set and now I ask myself all the time why didn’t I buy this particular painting a long time ago? The reason I’m glad I did is because “About Radha Krishna” is one of the most beautiful and meaningful paintings that I have ever come across in my life.

As with all the other artwork I have collected over the years, this particular story of Radha and Krishna is one that has inspired me for years. The inspirational message, this story holds has taken my heart on many occasions and has always given me a sense of peace. Most artists that create such kind of artworks are able to feel the true essence of what it is that they are creating and are able to make great paintings, but this particular painting is something that I have been looking forward to for quite some time. I am not sure why I waited so long to purchase this particular work but when I did I realized just why this story is so meaningful.

When I first discovered this particular story of Radha and Krishna, I immediately knew that I had found a perfect representation of the ultimate love in my life; the love that my parents gave to me. When I think about Radha and Krishna, the first thought that comes to my mind is their story painted on a canvas by a master artist of Indian descent. That’s why I got excited when I saw this particular painting because it reminded me of the story my parents told me when I was a child about Radha and Krishna. Of course I didn’t realize at that time that I would one day become a devotee of Radha and Krishna.

When I look at these paintings now I find that there is a lot of meaning in them. I read the story of Radha and Krishna and I found that the story has a lot of symbolism that ties into my personal journey. When I read about Radha Krishna and I look at her face, the most beautiful smile ever, I realize that she is my divine Mother. As I pray to her for her to be my personal mother, she surely desires to fulfill her role as a vessel of God’s love into my life. It is my understanding of the universal laws of nature and of God’s will that allow for such a miracle to occur. The face of Radha Krishna is an example of God’s love, which allows for this to happen, but it is my understanding that it only happens to one in a million births.

Another part of the story of Radha and Krishna is about the time when Radha and Krishna lived together. This was during their time when they were working with the Kashi Vishnu in Mathura. The work they were doing was an attempt to bring about balance in the four elements of wood, earth, fire, & water which were known to be the forces of creation. It was a very trying project for Radha and Krishna as they were working with a very heavy material, yet they were able to complete it successfully.

The story about Radha Krishna is also told through Hindu scriptures. There are many references to this in various Hindu scriptures such as the Bhagvatam and the Charaka Samhita. The Bhagvatam tells the story of Radha and Krishna living in a palace by the river Ganges with a lot of servants. Radha and Krishna fed the ducks with golden barley flour from their grain stored in abundance in the river Ganges. They even had a stable where they allowed the cows to graze freely and eat all the food the goats gave them.

The paintings on canvas depicting this story of Radha and Krishna’s relationship with Kriyas is a great example of Indian wooden artworks that depict God and Goddesses as artists. In many places in India especially in the regions where there is much temple worship, you will find images of Radha and Kriyas hanging in their offices, homes, temple halls and even in their gardens as well as on their bodies as a representation of God and His almighty power. Many artists of Indian origin have made a name for themselves in the field of painting Hindu religious paintings and the majority of their artwork is based on the concept of Radha and Krishna. Many of them have even gained international fame due to the success of their artworks.

There is an interesting story about Radha Krishna in Hindu scriptures that describes her journey to the spiritual plane. After fulfilling her destiny as the consort of Kriyas, she returns to earth to become the partner of Lord Krishna. It is said that after being in the spiritual plane, she sees her previous relationships from the physical plane (in a human form) and is able to overcome her fears that kept her from associating with Kriyas. She then chooses to help her brother Ajatas and his family get out of theravalli hell, take them to the divine realm where she is believed to be the consort of Lord Krishna and be with them for eternity.
